Boxer Evander Holyfield, 46, had hope to be the oldest heavyweight to ever win a major belt.  However,   Nikolai Valuev, the 7-foot Russian boxer shattered these hopes Saturday night.  Nikolia is the tallest and heaviest ever in the history of professional boxing.  In a post fight interview Holyfield told reporters “Of course I am disappointed. I thought I had done enough to get the win. Now I have to go home and think about my future.”

Prior to this match Holyfield has not fought in over a year, since losing to WBO champion Sultan Ibragimov.
