The Marriage of singer Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder Civil appears to be over (that’s a good thing).   The couple married in Miami, Florida in May of 2007.  Fielder Civil was arrested six months into their troubled marriage for beating up a bar manager then attempting to bribe him.  He was sentenced to 27 months therefore, for the majority of their marriage he has remained in prison.

A lawyer for the  jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil said Monday that his client will be seeking divorce on the grounds alleged infidelity.

Attorney Henri Brandman said he had been instructed by his client  “to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy’s adultery.”

Fielder-Civil was released into a drug rehab center in November but sent back to prison weeks later for breaching his bail conditions.

Winehouse has been in the tabloid’s lately and has been photographed with a young man named Josh Bowman vacationing in St. Lucia.  Although the Bowman has denied claims that they are a couple and has  said that he and the trouble singer are: ” just friends.”
