Jill Biden’s Slip of the Tongue
WHOOPS…It was just a slip!
Joe Biden and wife Jill appeared on Oprah Winfrey yesterday. The show was live from Washington in celebration of the Presidential inauguration today.
During the interview Jill Biden had a little slip of the tongue when she said: “that he had his pick of being Barack Obama’s running mate or the secretary of state nomination that eventually went to Hillary Rodham Clinton” a slip that the vice president-elect immediately tried to shush. Everyone seemed to laugh it off. Lets just hope she doesn’t get wind of any top secret information…that could be really bad!

It is to bad that Jill Biden made the careless, needless and hurtful comment on Oprah. President Obama is trying to build coalitions and she, in one unnecessary statement, has caused hurt. It is sad that she didn’t have the “good sense” to keep that to herself. I am glad that the Obama people rebutted her statement and I hope Hillary will overlook her mean spirited comments.
