Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been removed from office!

Senate tribunal found that Blagojevich had engaged in a pattern of abuse of power. It was a verdict based partly on his governing style of the past six years, and partly on criminal allegations that he tried to extort political donations with his official powers and plotted to auction off President Barack Obama’s former U.S. Senate seat.
