Obama’s Nascar Policy April Fools Joke
“Obama orders GM and Chrysler to Cease NASCAR participation at the end of 2009.”
The headlines caused the internet to buzz….and hook line and sinker, many fell for it. The entire country was talking about the article which read: “In a move sure to spark outrage, the White House announced today that GM and Chrysler must cease participation in NASCAR at the end of the 2009 season if they hope to receive any additional financial aid from the government Car and Driver has reported that President Obama has ordered all Chevrolet’s and Dodges out of NASCAR. “A complete withdrawal from America’s premier racing series is expected to save more than $250 million between GM and Chrysler, a substantial amount considering the drastic measures being implemented elsewhere.”
