The truth is out about the Obama’s latest addition.  Recent reports were that the six month old Portuguese Water dog was scheduled to arrive at his new home on Tuesday.  However, new information has emerged.  According to sources the new top dog who the Obama girls Malia and Sasha have named Bo, was a gift from Sen. Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts.

Bo whose former name was Charlie had been living with another family and it just wasn’t “working out”  therefore, Senator Kennedy  acquired the dog and was *delighted* to give him to the first family.  The Kennedy’s are known for their love of this particular breed and in a statement said:  “We couldn’t be happier to see the joy that Bo is bringing to Malia and Sasha.  We love our Portuguese water dogs and know that the girls — and their parents — will love theirs, too.”
