Phil Mickleson Suspends Schedule Due To Wife’s Illness
It was announced today that PGA star Phil Mickleson will suspend his playing schedule indefinitely because his wife Amy has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Treatment is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks. Test are being performed and it is expected that she will have “major surgery” first.
Mickleson is currently ranked the number two golfer in the world. His wife Amy, 37, met Mickleson while attending Arizona State University. They have three children, Amanda, 9; Sophia, 7; and Evan, 6.
