An Air France flight which departed from Rio de Janeiro on Sunday at approximately 07.00 p.m. local time and was scheduled to arrive in Paris today at 11:15 has been reported missing over the Atlantic Ocean.

According to a spokesman for the airlines, there are 216 passengers and 12 crew aboard.
