Fans Await Details on Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service

Approximately 1.6 million people registered to be one of the 17,500 people to attend the memorial service for the late “KING OF POP” Michael Jackson  which will be held at the Staple Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.  Details of Michael Jackson’s public memorial remained under wraps on Sunday as the LAPD prepare for a huge crowd of fans expected to turn out and again warned those without tickets to stay away.

A family spokesman declined to give details of the event, such as who might eulogize Jackson or which of the King of Pop’s celebrity friends may perform. He did not offer specifics of a separate, private family funeral, and police told Reuters they did not have any information about the private ceremony, either. Read full story here
