An Albuquerque, New Mexico man has developed a device that helps engines run on soda, including the highly-caffeinated Mountain Dew.

A man in Albuquerque, N.M. said he uses Mountain Dew soda as an alternative way to gas up cars, tractors and lawn mowers.

Paul Patone has invented the Geet System, a fuel booster system that he said can connect to any engine. He said it vaporizes the soda additive before it actually reaches the engine.“You need to have about 20, 25 percent hydrocarbon. Then you can add the Mountain Dew to it or whatever you want to add,” he said. In front of a group of people he put a few drops of Mountain Dew soda in the invention and it bubbled up.
