Jaycee Lee Dugard was 11 years old when she kidnapped near South Lake Tahoe in 1991 as she walked to a bus stop. On Wednesday, a woman claiming to be Dugard walked into a Concord police station and told police who she was.  See Video Below

A California stepfather who heard his little girl scream as she was abducted 18 years ago said she has been found alive and well and her captors are in custody.

A woman claiming to be Jaycee Lee Dugard, now 29, walked into a police station in tiny Antioch, Calif., Wednesday, her stepfather Carl Probyn told ABCNews.com today. Based on conversations his wife has had with police, the FBI and the woman herself, Probyn said the family is convinced Jaycee has been found.

“I had personally given up hope” he said. “I had just hoped for a recovery” and to find the people responsible.

Instead, he said, “I’ve actually won the lotto.”

[Jaycee Lee] Dugard was last seen walking to her school bus stop on Washoan Boulevard in her hometown of South Lake Tahoe, California on June 10, 1991. A gray two-tone 1980 mid-sized Ford or Mercury sedan, possibly a Ford Grenada, Mercury Monarch or Mercury Zephyr, made a u-turn on the street where Dugard was walking between 8:05 and 8:15 a.m. An unidentified man and woman were inside the vehicle. The woman grabbed Dugard and forced her inside the car, then the vehicle sped from the scene.  Read More Here

UPDATES:   According to this El Dorado County Sheriff press release shown on local blog Claycord.com, it has been confirmed that the woman is in fact Dugard.

Television station KRON 4 reports that a search warrant is currently being served in Antioch on the 1500 block of Walnut Avenue, and that two people, a man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the crime.
