ASSOCIATED CONTENT:  Barack Obama calling Kanye West a “jackass” was allegedly off the record. However, the Obama-Kanye jackass remark hit the Internet soon enough, thanks to ABC’s Terry Moran and Twitter.

Moran allegedly overheard Obama saying Kanye was  a jackass for his VMAs interruption, while President Obama was “off the record” in an interview with CNBC. But the Obama Kanye jackass quote was soon put on the record on Moran’s Twitter account, putting the President among the long list of people who made serious gaffs and outbursts this past week.Terry Moran Tweeted yesterday that “Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a ‘jackass’ for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.” Moran probably got extra attention for his sarcasm at the end, as many likely analyzed it for any liberal or conservative bias — when not going over Obama calling Kanye a jackass.  Read full story here
