Steelers’ Kicker Jeff Reed Misses Two Key Field Goals
Jeff Reed has been one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL the last five seasons.

But he missed two key fourth-quarter field goals Sunday before Robbie Gould connected on a 44-yarder to beat the Steelers 17-14.
“Of course that’s uncharacteristic of him,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said. “He just kicked the game-winner last week [against Tennessee] in overtime. That’s kind of what we are used to. We are not used to what happened today.”
Reed, who entered this season as the 10th-most accurate kicker in NFL history at 82.8 percent, missed from 38 and 43 yards, both wide left. Read more here
