Miles Austin: Explodes for 250 Yards and Two TDs -

♦Update:
Austin had a monster game in Sunday’s overtime win at Kansas City, hauling in 10 passes for 250 yards with a pair of touchdowns. His 60-yard touchdown grab in overtime won the game for Dallas.

♦Recommendation:
Austin, starting for Roy Williams (ribs), showed great run-after-the-catch ability along with breakaway speed, scoring from 59 and 60 yards out. Williams has been ineffective for most of the season and Patrick Crayton doesn’t have Austin’s size and speed combo so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Austin take over as one of the team’s top receivers.

Austin also had a tackle-breaking 59-yard touchdown catch to give the Cowboys (3-2) a 20-13 lead with 2:16 left in the fourth quarter. On both plays, he slipped the grasp of cornerback Maurice Leggett and then made safety Mike Brown miss.  Read full Associated Press story here
