Mark Teahen Traded to the White Sox

Mark Teahen traded to the White Sox!  CONFIRMED

The Chicago White Sox are reportedly close to acquiring utility player Mark Teahen 28,  from the Kansas City Royals.

According to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times, the White Sox would send infielders Chris Getz and Josh Fields to Kansas City.

Chicago White Sox reportedly agree to trade Chris Getz and Josh

The Chicago White Sox have agreed to trade second baseman Chris Getz and third baseman Josh Fields to the Kansas City Royals for Mark Teahen, according to reports.

The White Sox confirmed the trade, initially reported by the New York Daily News, to the Chicago Sun-Times. Getz told ESPNChicago.com’s Bruce Levine on Thursday morning that he had not been notified of a trade.  Read full story here
