Lisa Nowak  former NASA astronaut was charged with attacking a romantic rival Colleen Shipman plead guilty Tuesday to burglary and battery but was sentenced only to a year probation and no additional jail time.

Psycho Astronaut Lisa Nowak’s Love Rival Colleen Shipman

(ARCHIVE)  The Houston Chronicle published reports (picked up by various other outlets, as here in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer) that NOWAK’s love rival was Colleen Shipman, a 2002 graduate of Penn State University who has worked at Cape Canaveral since 2005. The above photograph, dated February 2002, was obtained from Penn State University and appeared in a publication titled “Effectively Sorting Components Using Machine Vision.” Ms. Shipman was a member of the student team which submitted the publication.
