Steven Tyler Joins Joe Perry Onstage, Not Leaving Aerosmith

Update:  “Toxic twins Steven Tyler and Joe Perry insiste an Aerosmith bust-up ain’t happening. Post music critic Dan Aquilante reports frontman Tyler showed up for the Joe Perry Project gig at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza last night, and the shaggy-haired duo belted out their iconic “Walk This Way.” During an encore, Tyler told the crowd: “The break-up – it just ain’t true.”  See Video here

The New York Times reports:  The shortest rift in rock music history has been healed as the estranged Aerosmith band mates Steven Tyler and Joe Perry reunited on Tuesday night on a New York stage, where Mr. Tyler announced that he was not leaving the group.
