ABC’s “Good Morning America”  canceled the performance of runner up Idol Adam Lambert, scheduled for Wednesday morning as a result of his controversial AMA performance.

The network received thousands of calls from viewers who found his performance very offensive.

Lambert’s inappropriate gestures,  included giving the middle finger, placing a dancers head in his crotch area and of course the biggest shocker was when Lambert kissed a male band member. Lambert  continues to defend his performance.

The American Idol runner-up closed the show by simulating oral sex from a male backup dancer to go along with a make-out session with his male keyboardist, among other sex-charged antics.  Read more here

I found the performance to be offensive.  Have been an Adam Lambert fan since his idol performance however this time he went too far.  (Laura, NY)

ABC did good by canceling his appearance he is gross and made a real fool of himself and it has nothing to do with the fact that he’s gay….the bird, the guy on a leash, the whole think was just in bad taste.  (Carmen, SC)
