USA Today: Ashley Dupre, the former Manhattan call girl who brought down Gov. Eliot Spitzer, is now an advice columnist for The New York Post.

Dupre’s first “Ask Ashley” column appeared in the News Corp.-owned tabloid Sunday with the tagline: “Spitzer’s babe answers all your love-life questions!”

“Sure, she’s made some mistakes,” the Post said. “But now Ashley Dupre… is sharing what she’s learned in her new sex, love and relationship column.”

“EXTRA” spoke with Ashley Dupre about Tiger Woods Mistresses coming forward  “I don’t agree with that they’re doing. I don’t agree with coming forward. I mean, he has a family, he has a wife, he has a kid. For people to just come out and want to say things that they’re saying, I feel like that’s really wrong. Dupre weighed in on questions from readers such as “How do I know if my daughter may be getting into trouble?”

Her advice to the worried mother? “Talk to her about boys, sex, alcohol and drugs, because they’re around and kids do experiment.

The Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal began on March 10, 2008, when The New York Times  reported that Democratic New York Governor Eliot Spitzer had patronized a prostitution service called Emperors Club VIP. This ultimately led him to announce his resignation as governor on March 12, effective March 17.

“I just don’t want to be thought of as a monster,” the 22-year-old Dupré, an aspiring pop recording artist living in Manhattan, told the New York Times, “This has been a very difficult time. It’s complicated.” Dupré was the subject of intense media coverage in the days after her role in the scandal became public. On March 15, the  New York Post published an extensive photo shoot showing Dupré in provocative poses.As of October 22, 2008 (2008 -10-22)^[update], Dupré’s profile on MySpace.com had received nearly 12 million page views.

Dupré had reportedly been offered $1 million by Hustler to pose nude for the magazine, and has received unofficial offers from Penthouse, among others.
