While many tabloids chase the latest women linked to Tiger Woods, his hometown newspaper, The Orlando Sentinel, profiles his beleaguered wife, Elin, and finds that neighbors describe her as  a “really sweet, maybe shy type of person” who is decidedly family-oriented.

Elin Nordegren Woods Ring is Off

Elin Nordegren. It seems that she’s been spotted without her wedding ring and it’s surprising people. A picture published in the Sun UK shows Elin pumping gas Sunday sans the wedding ring that always shows up in photos.  Read more here

“I see her in the neighborhood jogging or pushing her babies in a double stroller. She’s a very healthy mother. She looks wonderful for having two babies in a row,”  Jacqueline Siegel, a neighbor in the upscale lakefront neighborhood, tells The Sentinel.

The newspaper says the 29-year-old Elin Nordegren plays on the local tennis team and even answers her own front door to hand out candy at Halloween, but is otherwise reserved about getting involved in the local community.  Read full story here

Tiger Woods Update, Elin Seeking Divorce

Lawyers for Woods have obtained an injunction that blocks the publication in Britain of any photos or video showing him nude or having sex, Reuters reports.

A copy of the court order was posted by TMZ.com.

Jamie Jungers, a 26-year-old Las Vegas cocktail waitress, said she and Woods had an 18-month “boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.” Woods flaunted their affair and did not appear worried about getting caught, she said.
