At the age of 94, veteran actor Kirk Douglas presented Melissa Leo an award for best supporting actress for her role in The fighter.  At Sunday nights 2011 Oscars.

He almost stole the show as he flirted with presenter Ann Hathaway telling her: “Wow! Where were you when I was making movies?”  She blushed and began blowing him kisses.  Despite health issues he still has as much spunk as he did years ago.

Leo also used her speech to drop the f-bomb, though ABC was able to bleep out the word – see video at TMZ.

He also took jabs at her co-presenter James Franco’s performance in the gruelling 127 Hours –  telling the actor “You look much better out of the cave”  and pretended to fight with an usher for possession of his cane.  Also taking jabs from Douglass were Hugh Jackman and Colin Firth.

Douglass is #17 on the American Film Institute‘s list of the greatest male American screen legends of all time. In 1996, he received the Academy Honorary Award “for 50 years as a creative and moral force in the motion picture community.
