What did we learn from this weekends games? Not too much, things went about as expected.
You know, one of these weeks, we are in for the upset weekend. It happens every year when the top 25 gets turned upside down. Just when you think the major bowls are set, there are 2 teams are cruising towards the National Championship, and you are crying foul because your favorite team gets no respect, BAM – it happens. Four top 10 teams lose and the mayhem starts! Could it be this weekend??
After further review…..the extra point is NO GOOD!!! It’s one thing to miss a call on the field, but how can you still get it wrong after instant replay? Syracuse stole one yesterday! Maybe they are getting ready for the ACC. You know about all the calls UNC gets in basketball at the Dean Dome!! How can Little League Baseball get every reviewed call right in their World Series and major college football can’t?
Number’s 1, 2, and 3 tightened up a little bit this weekend. Oklahoma survived a little scare and LSU got an impressive road win in a very hostile environment at West Virginia. Many of the talking heads had predicted a Mountaineer victory but the Tigers flexed their SEC muscle and took care of business. Alabama also showed how tough they are with a great win against a very game Arkansas Razorback group. Can’t wait for that colossal matchup between the Tide and the Tiger’s! Meanwhile, Oklahoma will cruise over a bunch of cupcakes and not have a conference championship to deal with.
Nice win Wisconsin against that perennial powerhouse North Pole State, or was that South Dakota High, or North Dakota AT&T!
Brady Hoke and the Michigan Wolverines have finally figured it out. Dennard Robinson right, Dennard Robinson left, Dennard Robinson up the middle!!
For all you Notre Dame haters out there, they may not lose another game. Coach Kelly may have finally got them to believe in themselves. If not for all the penalties and turnovers, this team would be 4 – 0 right now and in the thick of things. Can’t wait for there season ending game against Stanford!
