Wanted…Arnoldo Jimenez for the murder of Estrella Carrera.
Chicago police are on the lookout for Arnoldo Jimenez who is a suspect in the brutally death of his new wife Estrella Carrera.
Jimenez, was last seen driving a 2006 black Maserati with the Illinois license plate L641441.
On Sunday, just two days after Carrera married Jimenez…Carrera’s sister, who had not heard from her since the wedding became concerned when Carrera failed to pick up her children.
NOTE: The sister claims the last time she saw Estrella was at 2:00 am on Saturday morning. The wedding was on Friday.
Authorities went to Carrera’s Burbank apartment on Sunday afternoon and found her in the bathtub. She was still wearing her wedding dress and had multiple stab wounds.
Carrera was pronounced dead at 7:30 pm.
The killing was “brutal” according to Capt. Joseph Ford of the Burbank Police Department.
In a statement, Capt. Ford told the Associated Press, “We do our jobs every day, of course. But something like this really motivates you to work even harder.”
According to sources, Carrera’s family did not approve of her relationship with Jimenez.
