BBParks A 30-year-old Alabama woman, Tracy Grissom has been charged with the first degree murder of her ex-husband Hunter Daniel Grissom, 28.
According to the arrest warrant, Grissom was on her way to work at around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. She reportedly saw her “X” at Binion Creek boat landing and stopped to take a picture of him which for a pending civil case.
Hunter Grissom was observed by several witness who reported that he made a obscene gesture (flipped her off) at her. It was then that she opened fire and shot her husband.
Following the shooting, Tracy Grissom called 911 to report that she had shot her ex-husband.
According to sources, there have been issues both legal and personal (domestic abuse) between the couple.
Tracy had obtained a permit to carry the handgun she used to shoot her estranged husband.
In 2010, Hunter Daniel Grissom was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and unlawful imprisonment. Tracy was victim of those alleged crimes.
In November 2010, Tracy filed the charges against Hunter Grissom.
According to court records, at the time of the shooting the charges were still pending.
On Tuesday, Grissom’s bond set at $60,000.00, and was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail at approximately 1:15.
The couple, who divorced on Oct. 15, 2010, has two children.
