After just ten years of marriage…Hutton Gibson, the 93-year-old father of actor Mel Gibson has filed for divorce and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason his marriage to Teddy Joye Gibson failed… she is said to be in her 70′s.
Hutton is asking for spousal support and that Teddy Joye pay his attorney’s fees.
They have no children…however, the elder Gibson, who is a devout Catholic, had 11 kids with his first wife Anne. Together he and Anne have 50 grand children.
