The verdict in the Penn State, Jerry “Skumdusky” sex abuse trial was reached last week…The former Penn Sate Defensive Coordinator was found guilty on 45 of the 48 counts he was charged with.

“Skumdusky” was transported to Centre County Jail immediately after the verdict was read…he will remain there until he appears before the court for “formal sentencing” which should be in 90 days.

The lowlife pedophile, was place on suicide watch and is being kept in an are away from the other inmates currently housed there.  According to his lawyer Karl Rominger, who is the only one allowed to see his client until a psychiatric evaluation is done,  his client “can’t stand isolation and is anxious to move around.” “Scumdusky” also told his attorney…”I don’t think I’m suicidal. I’m dealing with this, but if I have to sit around in this cell for a few more days, I am going to go nutty.”   receive

Sandusky Comment:“Am I sexually attracted to underage boys? Sexually attracted, you know, I enjoy young people. I love to be around them. But no, I’m not sexually attracted to young boys.”

He is being kept in an isolated area for his “own protection.” Perhaps they show go ahead and place him within the general jail population and left him fend for himself…just like his innocent victims had to do.  Why should he be protected?     Statistic show that “sexual child predators” don’t fare well when placed with other inmates…put him with him and let them have their way with him!  It would save the state a lot of money.

“In retrospect, I shouldn’t have showered with those kids.”  Interesting what kind of adult bathes with kids?

Another appalling issue has surfaced in the case. Despite the charges and the fact that he will most likely spend the remainder of his life behind bars although his defense team plans to appeal Friday’s conviction….He will still receive his state pension in the amount of $4900.00 monthly.

According to Pennsylvania Law (Act 140)…Sandusky would only forfeit his pension after being sentenced for crimes such as extortion and bribery by a public employee.

Pension Summary:

Sandusky, 68, reportedly receives a pension of about $59,000 a year for the rest of his or his wife Dottie’s life.  He began receiving his pension  when he retired from the University in 1999.  Sandusky received a lump sum payment of $148,271.71 and gets a lifetime pension of $4,908.17 per month.

What is even more disturbing…According to STATEHOUSE News Online The estimated cost to house a prisoner in Pennsylvania is around $35,000.00 per year.  This  amount is $14,000.00 more than it cost to attend Penn State for one year…including room and board.

As far as we’re concerned…Dottie Sandusky deserves a jail cell of her own.
