BBParks Natalie Wood’s mysterious “accidental” death in November 1981 has been reclassified as “undetermined.”
Initially, Los Angeles County coroner Thomas Noguchi ruled her death an accident by drowning and hypothermia.
The actress was on an alcohol-fueled party on a boat off Santa Catalina Island, California with husband Robert Wagner, 81, when she went overboard…no one saw her fall in.
Which raised the question…how did she end up in the water and how did she get the bruises on her body…which were inconsistent with those one might sustain in a drowning.
Dennis Davern the captain of the yacht “Splendour” from which Wood’s on alleged that her husband, actor Robert Wagner, was responsible for her death. She was 43.

According to the ships captain, Davern alleged that prior to Wood’s drowning… Wagner was heard shouting at ‘actor Christopher Walken. As he smashed a bottle of wine…he said to Walken…‘Do you want to f*** my wife’ ?
Walken was 38 years old on the day that Wood died in 1981.
