Pop singer, fashion designer and new mother Jessica Simpson, 32, has been struggling with her post baby weight and is determined to shed those extra pounds. According to Simpson she gained lots of tonnage during her pregnancy.
Simpson was spotted yesterday as she arrived at a L.A. fitness center and according to sources she appears to have lost a significant amount of weight.
On May 01, 2012, Simpson gave birth to her first child, a girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson…a “whopper” weighing 9 pounds 13 ounces and measured in at 21.75 inches. Since then, she has been working diligently to get her “Daisy Duke” figure back.
In an interview with USA Today Simpson said …”I let myself indulge in everything I wanted (macaroni & cheese and chocolate) because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it. I didn’t realize [the weight] didn’t all come off with the baby.” Kind like she though Starkist Tuna was “Chicken (literally) of the Sea!

Cleansing…The Master Cleanse – or any Cleanse The Idea: Chugging maple syrup or cayenne goop or expensive juice delivery services can “cleanse” our organs, reboot our metabolism, help us grow better hair, and have stronger nails – why not throw in “win the Nobel Prize” and “win the lottery?”
The Truth: The idea of limiting yourself to a regimen of liquid sugar (void of fiber, protein or healthy fats) to flush out toxins is not only painful, it’s actually dangerous! In fact, I’ve seen more people get fatter following faux cleanses than any other bad diet. I can safely say that the vast majority of us in the scientific community agree that the notion of a nutritional scrub is nothing more than “highly profitable fiction.” It’s more of a symbolic gesture than a physical one.
Diets to avoid according to Pasternak include:
The Cookie Diet/Lemon Diet/Cabbage Diet
The Snack Pack Diet
The Fat-Free Diet
