BBParks It’s official…next season’s American Idol judges is no longer a mystery.
Auditions began in NYC today. Season 12 Judges include Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson.
There were speculations and rumors which left “America” wondering who would feel the seats vacated by Jennifer Lopez and Stephen Tyler…then it was later announced that Randy Jackson would act as a mentor on the reality television talent competition which meant that there would be three seats to feel.
The announcement that Mariah Carey was officially on board was announced in. Carey would become the highest paid judge in a reality talent show. Joining Carey on the judges panel will be…Nicki Minaj, Australia’s Keith Urban and Randy Jackson.
It has been rumored that Nicki Minaj is getting $12 million to be a judge on “American Idol.”
Veteran judge Randy Jackson will also return next season as a judge. According to sources at TMZ.com…Jackson got a last minute reprieve when producers failed to come to terms on a contract with Enrique Iglesias.

Day one of the Auditions began in New York City…all the judges and host Ryan Seacrest were on hand and in search of the next “American Idol.”
“American Idol” season 12…will begin in January.
Randy Jackson a Mentor on American Idol Season 12
The last of the original “American Idol” judges…Randy Jackson…is vacating the seat he occupied on the panel since 2002. The “dawg” will continue to play a role on the show as a mentor to the contestants.
