BBParks Highlights…Honey Boo Boo’s Dad Released from the hospital following an off-road ATV accident.
TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Alana Thompson’s dad Mike aka “Sugar Bear,” 40, has been released from the hospital and is reportedly recovering from an infection in his leg.
Sugar Bear, was involved in a “mud-boggin” ATV accident a couple of weeks ago. Papa Mike “Sugar Bear“ Thompson sustained a nasty leg injury as a result. He was hospitalized when the injury became infected and had to undergo emergency surgery.
When he arrived home today greeted by his family and one of his McIntyre, GA. buddies who was there to carry him from the car to the house.
According to June Shannon “Mama” Thompson…Sugar Bear is doing fine…He is expected to make a full recovery and could return to work in four weeks.
