Gay country singer and now eligible bacholerette k.d. Lang has reportedly parted ways…personally, legally and officially with her partner of two years, Jamie Price.

In 2003, their paths crossed when they were introduced to one another by  Buddist teacher.  It was then that they became an “item.”

Six years later…in 2009, Lang,  and Pierce entered into a legally registered binding agreement in which they were granted a legally binding “domestic (gay marriage) partnership.”

In January 2012 Lang filed documents to have their ” partnership” dissolved.

The judgement was entered last week which finalized their split.

According to TMZ.com… the settlement agreement, both sides have waived rights to partner support — and agree to a clean division of property … k.d. takes what’s hers (earnings, bank accounts, car, houses), Jamie takes what’s hers (not that much).

Lang ( (Kathryn Dawn Lang),  is a Western Canada native.  Sh won  a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 1989    Her career received a huge boost when Roy Orbison chose her to record a duet of his standard, “Crying,”
