BBParks UPDATE: Celebrity Gossip, The assailant in the Lindsay Lohan assault, Christian LeBella, congressional staffer who works for Republican John Shimkus, has had the charges against him dropped.
Actress Lindsay Lohan was allegedly assault this morning by a man she claims she and her friends met Saturday night at 1 Oak…a nightclub in Chelsea.
Later that night…Lohan, 26, her friends and the man went to her hotel room at W Hotel on Park Avenue South, in NYC.
While in Lohan’s room…she notice that the man, who was identified as Christian LaBella of Valley Village, Calif., was taking pictures with his cell phone. The “Mean Girls” actress became angry when she realized that she was the “topic” of his photo shoot and confronted him. It was then that LaBella threw her on the bed causing scratches…When Lohan managed to get away…when she did…she ran out of the room. When she returned..the man was still in the room…He attacked her again, threw her on the ground and climbed on top of her…
With the help of a friend….Lohan managed to get LaBella off her. Lohan sounded the fire alarm and called the police.
The police arrived and arrested the man on two misdemeanor counts of assault and two charges of harassment.
LaBella works for Republican John Shimkus of Illinois.
