Former Miami Dolphins running back and first round pick in the 2003 NFL draft, Larry Johnson, has found himself in trouble with the law again. Johnson was arrested this morning after he got into a domestic dispute with a woman who identified herself as his ex-girlfriend who had a four year relationship with the troubled ex-NFL star.
Johnson’s whose NFL career includes the Kansas City Chiefs (2003–2009), Cincinnati Bengals (2009), Washington Redskins (2010) and Miami Dolphins (2011) who terminated Johnson’s contract during final roster cuts September 3, 2011, making him a free agent…was at the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas when the incident occurred.
According to source…Johnson and the 32-year-old woman had reportedly been drinking together. They went to Johnson’s room to “catch up” on old times.
Johnson became enraged when they began talking about his daughter. The unidentified woman claims that he began to “beat her and threw her across the room” and eventually choked her until she blacked out and lost consciousness.
When security arrived Johnson allegedly threatened the hotel security guard and told him that he would “rip his f*cking vocal cords out”
Clark County, Nevada, jail records Johnson remains in custody and is being held on $15,000 bail. Johnson is scheduled to appear in court at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday for a hearing.
Johnson track record involving women speaks volumes about his true Character….He has been arrested four times since 2003 and has been sued twice for two separate alleged assaults in 2008 and 2011. All four arrests were due to violence against women.

According to the report, the GF told police she regained consciousness in a hotel hallway while dressed only in her underwear and a see-through blouse. The GF says she banged on doors until someone called for help.
Johnson has been arrested four times since 2003 on various assault charges against women. In 2003, he was arrested for felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor domestic battery for waving a gun at his then-girlfriend, during an argument at his home. The charges were dropped when Johnson agreed to participate in a domestic violence diversion program. In 2005, he was again arrested for assault when a woman accused Johnson of pushing her to the ground, but the case was dropped after the alleged victim failed to appear in court for three hearings.
His third arrest for assault came in February 2008, after allegedly pushing a woman’s head at a nightclub. In October 2008 Johnson was arrested for the fourth time and charged with one count of non-aggravated assault for allegedly spitting a drink in a woman’s face at a Kansas City nightclub on October 11. Johnson tried to flee the scene but police officers tackled him. The woman involved filed a civil suit against Johnson, accusing him of negligence, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Johnson would be deactivated for the October 19, 2008, game against the Tennessee Titans for violating an undisclosed team rule. The team said his suspension for this game was unrelated to the criminal investigation.
In March 2009, Johnson pleaded guilty to two counts of disturbing the peace, regarding the two incidents in 2008, and was sentenced to two years probation.
