A controversial video of a sheep named Terry…who appears to have an baaaaaaaahackwards upside-down-head has taken the internet by storm and has left many questioning whether or not it is a hoax.
The video posted on September 29th has gotten 200,000 views. It taken by Allan McNamara a 30-year-old computer technician who lives in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire.
McNamara claims that he and a friend of his…who has a horse which she keeps on the farm where “Terry the sheep” lives…. were walking through the farms countryside when they spotted the sheep grazing in a field…She had apparently seen the sheep before and wanted him to see it…McNamara was reportedly fascinated by the strange looking critter and it’s ability to adapt and live amongst all the other animals on the farm. It was then that he took the video. Read more here

More Strange News:
McNamara, who would not reveal the farms exact location… insistence that the animal’s deformity is real and is not altered through technology…
According to agricultural department at Purdue University there are more than 30 known or suspected genetic defects in sheep. One of them, called spider lamb syndrome (SLS),
Spider Lamb Syndrome involves the improper formation of bone. In a normal lamb, cartilage forms and minerals are put down at the end of the cartilage to form calcified bone. This process is altered in a spider lamb sheep. Some cartilage is ossified into bone while other cartilage in the same area is not.
The deformities that result includes long and bent legs, curved and twisted spines, flattened rib cages, and abnormally long necks. The most commonly observed deformity is splayed legs. This involves the portion of the legs below the knee jutting outward at a 30 to 45 degree angle. The legs resemble spider legs, and that is how the disorder acquired its name.
McNamara…who has returned to the farm on several occasions insist that Terry “lives happily and has been checked by a vet to ensure he is in no pain. He can eat, sleep and do everything other sheep can.”
He remains adamant about the sheep’s authenticity. Despite all those that say his video is fake and altered through computer imagining.
Mr McNamara has posted further pictures of the sheep online in a bid to clear up the confusion.
