Top Gun Director Tony Scott’s Toxicology Report is Released

Toxicology ReportBritish-born film director and producerTony Scott…who took his life on August 19, 2012, by leaping off an Vincent Thomas Bridge in L.A. bridge…had also taken an excessive amount of sleeping pills and anti-depressant medication prior to jumping.

Results of the toxicology reports indicated that Scott had Lunesta and the anti-depressant Mirtazapine.

Following the success of Top Gun, Scott found himself on Hollywood’s A-list of action directors.

Hollywood is said to be shocked by the death of a well-known and highly respected movie director Tony Scott who committed  suicide yesterday at around  12:30 p.m in plain sight of dozens of people.

Fox News is apologizing after they aired a video of a man in a high speed chase shoot himself on live television Friday afternoon. The man was involved in a 100 mph high speed chase after he became a suspect in the  carjacking of  a Dodge Caliber in Phoenix.

Anthony DavidTonyScott (21 June 1944 – 19 August 2012). 

He was the younger brother of film director Ridley Scott.

Films  to his credit include The Hunger (1983), Top Gun (1986), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987),  Days of Thunder (1990), The Last Boy Scout (1991), True Romance (1993), Crimson Tide (1995), Enemy of the State (1998), Spy Game (2001), Déjà Vu (2006), The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009) and Unstoppable (2010).
