British-born film director and producer…Tony Scott…who took his life on August 19, 2012, by leaping off an Vincent Thomas Bridge in L.A. bridge…had also taken an excessive amount of sleeping pills and anti-depressant medication prior to jumping.
Results of the toxicology reports indicated that Scott had Lunesta and the anti-depressant Mirtazapine.
Following the success of Top Gun, Scott found himself on Hollywood’s A-list of action directors.
