BBParks A paparazzi photographer who was attempting to shoot photos of ‘teen heartthrob’ singer Justin Bieber’s Ferrari was hit by another car and Tuesday evening.
According to law enforcement officials… a white Ferrari belonging to Bieber was pulled over by California Highway Patrol after it was clocked speeding on the 405 … near the Getty Center in LA. The driver of the car pulled over onto a exit ramp on Sepulveda Blvd.
The photographer who was later identified as Chris Guerra… had been following the Ferrari got out of his car in an attempted to get some “up close and personal” snapshots of Bieber’s car.
Authorities ask him several times to go back to his car….He was struck and killed by an oncoming car as he attempted to cross back over Sepulveda where his car was parked.
The latest details in the case….
The Bieber- paparazzi pursuit began earlier when Guerra reportedly spotted the singers car — at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills and also saw Selena Gomez’s car there.
Rapper Lil Twist, 19, was driving Justin Bieber’s Ferrari when it was pulled over Tuesday evening… He had been hanging out with Bieber at the Four Seasons Hotel and for some unknown reason…he was by himself when he left the hotel in Bieber’s Ferrari…Justin was not present or involved in this incident
Sources say drugs and alcohol were not a factor for the driver of the vehicle that hit the photographer.
Bieber issued the following statement at 7:30AM PST: “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.”
