On Thursday, Adams, who starred in the 2013 film, “American Hustle,” was on a commercial flight from Detroit to LAX  As we all know, A-lister’s such as Adams always fly first class and this flight was intended to be no different.  However, Hill, who was already seated on the plane, noticed the actress watching a solider as he boarded the plane and made his way for his seat in coach.

As the solider boarded, Hill saw Adams immediately get up from her seat and say something to the flight attendant.  Hill, said they next thing he knew…the solider was sitting in the first class seat previously occupied by AdamsThe actress, whose father was in the military, settled into a coach seat for the flight.

It was then that Hill shared a tweet on social media which said “Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy. She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I’m an even bigger fan now.”

Hill said she didn’t think the soldier even realize who switched seats with him and added  “Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character,” Hill added. “And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate!”

The happy traveler, who sat beside Adam’s in coach, made the best of her flight by taking photos with the actress and Tweeting andposting photos of her new-found friend on Instagram.
