Whoa… Slow Down! Pete Davidson Gives Ariana Grande a Huge Diamond
Pete Davidson has reportedly chiseled out a huge pocket in his wallet in exchange for a huge customized diamond which he placed on the engagement ring finger of girlfriend Ariana Grande.
The VVS1 clarity 3.03 carat diamond set in platinum was created by NYC jeweler Greg Yuna aka Mr. Flawless. According to the gossip rumor mill, it took about two weeks to make and cost almost $100,000.00.
The Saturday Night Live actor began dating the pop diva in May 2018. Based on their three week dating timeline …it appears to be wasting no time getting her to the alter. Davidson reportedly purchased the stone one week after their relationship began…. WHOA!
Monday night, via Twitter, Ariana responded to several fans who congratulated her on the big news.
Clarity is the quality of diamonds that relates to the existence and visual appearance of internal characteristics of called inclusions, and surface defects, called blemishes. Clarity is one of the four Cs of diamond grading, the others being carat, color, and cut.
Diamonds with higher clarity grades are more valued, with the exceedingly rare “Flawless” graded diamond fetching the highest price. Minor inclusions or blemishes are useful, as they can be used as unique identifying marks analogous to fingerprints. In addition, as synthetic diamond technology improves and distinguishing between natural and synthetic diamonds becomes more difficult, inclusions or blemishes can be used as proof of natural origin.
