Demi Lovato, has been no stranger to the gossip rumor over the past few days… except on social media!

There have been several sightings of the pop diva after her recent release from rehab. Most have been in the company of fashion designer Henry Levy.

Now for the first time since her much anticipated public return, the singer has surfaced on social media.

Lovato, who appeared to be flying solo, shared a photo of herself inside a voting booth.  She captioned her photo post with “I’M VOTING!” She added “I am so grateful to be home in time to vote! One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard!”

Demi has been a source of inspiration for many struggling with substance abuse issues. Her recent recovery detour is a should be a lesson to all…. “One Day at a Time…Each and Every Day!”

On July 24, 2018, emergency responders were called to the singers residence. It was then that they found Lovato unresponsive. She had overdosed on Oxycontin laced with Fentanyl. She was given a substance known as Naloxone (Narcan) and was transported to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was stabilized and remained in the hospital and upon her release, immediately entered a rehab.

The former child star has struggled with addiction, mental illness and disordered eating for years. In 2010, Lovato entered treatment, where she sought help for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm and addiction. She relapsed after she left the treatment center, then entered a sober living facility for a year.

Since her release,  Lovato has been seen on social media with clothing designer and conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy. He founded the Los Angeles and Paris based luxury clothing label ‘Enfants Riches Deprimes’ in 2012. Enfants Riches Déprimés translates from the French to “Depressed Rich Kids.”
