The distressing footage was captured by an onlooker in Hayes Valley on Friday. In the video, Larry can be seen standing over his wife’s chair as the two tussle. Pam’s chair falls to the ground Larry continues to pull a phone from her hand. The clip then resumes with Larry telling his wife of 29 years to ‘stop, Pam, stop’. In a statement Larry said it was a ‘squabble over a cell phone’. Pam told TMZ: ‘We were having a family fight about someone in my family’. But one witness said he heard Larry tell his wife: ‘Let’s go to counseling today’. Two witnesses at the scene reportedly said they intervened during the altercation and separated the two as the wife screamed for help.

Major League Baseball said it ‘is aware of the incident and is gathering facts’. The incident is now under police investigation.
