After 15-years of marriage, NSYNC singer Joey Fatone has filed for divorce.

According to the celeb gossip rumor mill, Fatone filed legal documents in Orlando, Florida on 13th May.

He and his soon to be ex-wife, Kelly Baldwin married in 2009.  They have two children, Briahna Joely Fatone, Kloey Alexandra Fatone.

TMZ.com confirmed the reports which initially surfaced during Fatone’s interview with US Weekly at the Critics Choice Awards.

In the summer of 1995, after befriending Chris Kirkpatrick, a fellow Universal Studios stage performer who was singing in a doo-wop group, Fatone became the fourth member of the boyband, along with Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. Then Lance Bass was added to the group that would become NSYNC.

The American boy band formed in Orlando, Florida in 1995 and launched in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich. The group consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass.

Sold 2.4 million copies of their second album, “No Strings Attached”, in the first seven days, setting a new first-week sales record. As of April 2003, that record has yet to be matched. [March 2000]

NSYNC were awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 7080 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Band consists of Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick.

They performed at the 2000 World Series, the 2001 Super Bowl, and the 2002 Olympic Games.
