Zachery Ty Bryan, who starred on the television sitcom, Home Improvement, was arrested in Eugene, Oregon Friday night.

According to sources, the arrest was made after police responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex.

When they arrived, they found Zachery Ty Bryan sitting outside his apartment. His 27-year-old girlfriend, who he allegedly tried to joke during the disturbance, was hiding out at a neighbors house.

After an investigation, cops determined that 39-year-old had gotten into some sort of argument a woman who is believed to be his girlfriend. She claimed that the altercation allegedly became physical and he began to assault and choke her. When she attempted to call 911, there was a struggle and he took her cell phone. The victim declined medical assistance.

The former Home Improvement star was arrested and booked on three charges for strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and interfering with making a report.
