Prince Harry CEO of BetterUp Doesn’t Need Royalty to Succeed

Betterup than down!

Prince Harry has clearly made a statement to his royal relatives back in the UK, proving that he doesn’t need their royal money, royal name or royal privileges’.

Harry has been appointed ‘chief impact officer’ position at the San Francisco-based start-up company, BetterUp Inc.,
a life-coaching firm in the Silicon Valley.

BetterUp is a tech firm that that develops products around coaching, employee development and mental health.

Harry’s position will entail working on promoting greater dialogue around mental health, a cause that he has frequently championed.

Harry and Meghan Announced Royal Bun in the Oven

He released a statement saying “As the first BetterUp Chief Impact Officer, my goal is to lift up critical dialogues around mental health, build supportive and compassionate communities, and foster an environment for honest and vulnerable conversation,” Harry said in a blog post on the company’s website. “And my hope is to help people develop their inner strength, resilience, and confidence.”

Harry has been appointed ‘chief impact officer’ for San Francisco-based start-up BetterUp Inc. As well as having a full say in ‘strategic’ decisions, the prince – who had vowed not to cash in on his royal credentials – will become a public face for the business. His photograph is already prominently displayed on the firm’s website alongside the words ‘Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex’.

Introducing our Chief Impact Officer
From Alexi Robichaux, CEO of BetterUp

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we welcome our first Chief Impact Officer: Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex. We are energized by his model of inspiration and impact through action. As a true citizen of the world, he has dedicated his life’s work to bringing attention to the diverse needs of people everywhere and advocating for mental health initiatives: from founding the Invictus Games, a platform for service personnel to use sport as part of their psychological and physical rehabilitation, to launching Sentebale, which supports the mental health and wellbeing of young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.
