With no official events on the schedule, a spokesman says he expects President Barack Obama to play a lot of Golf on the 10-day vacation that began today. Obama, his wife, their daughters and their dog left for Camp David this afternoon.

They’re planning to go to the Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday. They’ll be staying at a private 28-acre estate there. Read more here

The 28-acre Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark, where the first family will stay during the last week of August. The farm includes the main house, guest house, boat house, basketball court and putting green. The Obamas paid to rent the estate (at an estimated price of $35,000-$50,000) with their own money. Meet the new top dog Charlie (name to be changed) a six month old Portuguese water dog who is headed to the White House.  According to sources, Charlie is coming from a breeder in Texas and schedule to meet his new owners on Tuesday. Read more here

There’s been a lot of hype and anticipation to see what would happen when Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston crossed paths at the 81st Academy awards.  However according to FOX news there were some glares as Jennifer Anistion and Jack Black present an award.

In the first pan to Brangelina,  Jolie was gamely guffawing as Aniston, whom Pitt left in 2005 in order to be with Jolie, hammed it up.

In the second pan, the couple looked on with the bemused half-grins we’ve come to know from literally thousands of paparazzi pics over the past three years.

The nights not over though.  The post-oscar parties, lets just hope they don’t go to the same one.
