A day after  LaVar Ball, the outspoken father of the basketball players LiAngelo and Lonzo Ball, played down President Trump’s involvement in getting LiAngelo safely out of China without any criminal charges, the president fired back on Twitter.

NBA star Gordon Hayward, 27, suffered a brutal ankle injury just 5 minutes into his Boston Celtics debut against the Cleveland Cavs Tuesday night.

The injury occurred when Hayward went up for an alley-oop. He landed hard on the court and it was evident that the fall he took was serious.

Former Baylor Head Coach Art Briles Will Not Coach in the CFL

Former Baylor head coach Art Briles’ stint as an offensive coordinator for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats has been fired.

According to sources at TMZ.com, the team and the league decided that their decision to hire the disgraced former college football coach was a bad idea.

A joint statement was issues by the CFL and Tigercats saying “Art Briles will no longer be joining the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as a coach. We came to this decision this evening following a lengthy discussion between the league and the Hamilton organization. We wish Mr. Briles all the best in his future endeavors.”

Parole Granted by the Nevada Prison Commissioners, O.J. Simpson Free

O.J. Simpson was granted parole Thursday after serving more than eight years in a Nevada prison for a Las Vegas hotel heist.

Since 2008, Simpson has been at a medium-security prison, Lovelock Correctional Center located in a remote desert town of Lovelock, Nevada.

His appearance before the parole board was via video conferencing from the correctional facility.

Charlie Sheen, known for his avid love for sports and sports memorabilia has knocked it out of the ball park with his world series ring.

The actor sold the 1927 New York Yankees World Series ring that once belonged to Babe Ruth.   According to sources, it brought  $2,093,927 at auction Friday night.

He also sold  an original copy of the sale document that sent Babe Ruth from the Red Sox to the Yanks in 1919 for $2,303,920.  Not to shabby!

The Tiger Woods arrest video has been released by Jupiter Police.  The  dash cam footage shows Tiger Woods’ Memorial Day encounter with police.

Tiger was asleep at the wheel during his DUI arrest over the holiday weekend, according to police reports.

The video was made available Wednesday and clearly sheds more light on the golfer’s much-scrutinized arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.
