Rodriguez delivered a go-ahead, two-out double in the ninth inning off Brad Lidge and the Yankees took advantage of Johnny Damon’s daring dash to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-4 on Sunday night for a 3-1 lead in the World Series.

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has alleged that Sports Illustrated columnist  Selena Roberts illegally stalked him.  The claims came during the Yankees third baseman admitted in an ESPN interview that he did in fact use performance enhancing drugs.  Roberts has denied the allegations.

Sports Illustrated has reported, Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, that Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003 while playing for the Rangers.

According to four unknown sources in  a story posted on it magazines website the New York Yankees Star failed a drug test for two anabolic steroids, Primobolan and testosterone. His name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Major League Baseball said it was “disturbed” by the report.  MLB executive vice president said in a statement: “Because the survey testing that took place in 2003 was intended to be nondisciplinary and anonymous, we cannot make any comment on the accuracy of this report as it pertains to the player named.”

According to sources….The Material Girl, Madonna has not been the only one who has captured baseball’s Alex Rodriguez.  His eyes have also been on Bridal Model Melissa Britos.  A-Rodriguez met Britos at a party in November and a close friend of Britos claims that he became “obsessed”  with her.  Sorry Madonna, hate to break it to you but ” your not the only one whose been catching the yankee sluggers foul balls.
