Rodriguez delivered a go-ahead, two-out double in the ninth inning off Brad Lidge and the Yankees took advantage of Johnny Damon’s daring dash to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-4 on Sunday night for a 3-1 lead in the World Series.

Daily News Gossip has reported that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez aka Arod, was spotted on the streets of Miami this weekend with Bethenny Frankel.  Frankel is  the one of the reality stars on “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

Alex Rodriguez Steroid Reports

Sports Illustrated has reported, Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, that Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003 while playing for the Rangers.

According to four unknown sources in  a story posted on it magazines website the New York Yankees Star failed a drug test for two anabolic steroids, Primobolan and testosterone. His name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Major League Baseball said it was “disturbed” by the report.  MLB executive vice president said in a statement: “Because the survey testing that took place in 2003 was intended to be nondisciplinary and anonymous, we cannot make any comment on the accuracy of this report as it pertains to the player named.”
