She was eliminated from the show on March 9, 2006.

For her audition song, Brown sang “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Randy Jackson said she had a good, though undistinguished voice. Paula Abdul also thought Brown was a good singer, but that she favored vocal power over dynamics. Simon Cowell accused Brown of being “robotic and somewhat empty.” In the end, Jackson and Abdul (who made the final judgment) sent Brown through to the Hollywood rounds.

Mandisa Weight Loss, Simon Cowell should know that some things are worth the weight. Too bad the “American Idol” creator and resident hater couldn’t see that when he made a disparaging comment about Mandisa Hundley ’s plus-size frame after her audition for season 5 of the hit show.

Whatever happened to ‘American Idol’s’ Mandisa?

“My ♥heart broke when I saw the show and Simon said that they’d need to build a bigger stage for me,” explains Mandisa, who has lost 80 pounds after hiring a personal trainer last  August. “I was watching the auditions with my friends and was so humiliated and hurt, but my friends prayed that God would have mercy on him and help me forgive him before I returned to move on to the next competition, and I did.”  Read more here

Justin Guarini, 30, was married early Saturday evening in Doylestown, PA home to Justins parents.

He married Reina Capodici 27, his high school ♥sweetheart.

The private wedding was attended by 50 close family and friends and it  took place at a private estate overlooking the Delaware River. The newly weds grew up in Doylestown and dated in high school, later to re-connect, realizing that they were meant for each other.

Justin Guarini: From Idol to Altar

The intimate wedding was presided over by a female minister from the Universalist Church and included vows the couple wrote themselves. Guarini’s stepdaughter Lola, 4, spoke during the ceremony. Ellen DeGeneres, 51, is  American Idol’s new judge. Finally American Idol creators have a replacement of Paula Abdul on America’s best known reality show. So far there were speculation as to who is going to be the replacement for affable Paula Abdul who left the show over payment issue.

But now everything seems to have fallen for the beautiful and gorgeous Ellen DeGeneres.

The famous comedian Ellen DeGeneres is about to tickle the funny bone of millions of music lovers — the comedienne will replace “Forever Your Girl” star Paula Abdul as a judge when the 9th season of American Idol kicks off in January 2010.

She says that she’s thrilled to take over the seat left vacant after Abdul quit the series in the middle of a salary dispute with producers last month.

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is a twelve-time Emmy Award-winning American stand-up comedienne, television hostess and actress. She hosts the award winning syndicated talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
