Brian de Villiers of Marietta, Ga., was named United States Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year.
He has 30 years coaching experience and is the Director of both RCS Tennis Academy and the Riverside Club in Atlanta.
De Villiers has traveled and coached extensively on the WTA and ATP tours with several pros ranked in the top 50 in the world (Luke Jensen, Murphy Jensen and Amanda Coetzer, among others).
He is currently coaching Melanie Oudin (No. 1 Girls 18s USTA, No. 2 ITF world junior rankings) and Grace Min (No. 1 Girls 14s USTA). De Villiers’ students won 13 ITF titles and nine National titles in 2007.

As a dedicated coach, he works with both nationally and internationally ranked junior players and focuses on developing their skills to prepare them for collegiate and/or professional careers. De Villiers is Certified Professional with the USPTA, PTR, a USA High Performance Coach and Certified USTA Sports Science I and II.
