E Online has reported that James Van Der Beek and wife Heather McComb have split after six years of marriage.

James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb, both age 32,  began dating after meeting each other for the very first time during the filming of his TV series “Dawson’s Creek” in 1998.

The couple married in Malibu in July 2003 shortly after the the sixth and final season of Dawson’s Creek.

“They remain good friends,” the rep told Us Weekly, which reports that the couple separated two months ago.
